Visit Fontainebleau castle ,the royal residence from the 12th century, hunting lodge of François I and Napoleon Bonaparte's abdication, with a collection of paintings, furniture and a museum devoted to Napoleon I. Enjoy a walk in the gardens, in front of one of the most beautiful forest in France. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to discover the village of Barbizon, well known for having inspired the 19th century painters, as Jean Francois Millet
